Tips for Use

They are very versatile in the kitchen, ideal for all kinds of desserts, their consumption is very common in jams, ice creams and different pastry recipes. But it also combines very well in savory dishes, from a vinaigrette to a puree or coulis, to garnish a white meat or fish.

Color: typical of the variety of this fruit: carmine red.
Smell: fragrant and fresh but soft.
Flavor: typical of this variety, bittersweet and very pleasant.
Texture/consistency: texture with hairy outer skin but juicy inside.

Storage Conditions

Tested shelf life: 42 months, kept in original packaging and stored frozen at -20ºC.
If thawed, it should never be refrozen.
Thawing should be done under refrigeration (2 to 5ºC) and kept at this temperature until thawing.
