The red currant or cassis is known for its intense red color and its bitter/acidity. At FROZT® we remove all skins and seeds with our unique sieving to obtain a puree that is ideal for use in jellies, jams or even soft drinks.

1 KG FORMAT: Red currant (Ribes rubrum) 90% and sugar.

Tips for Use

Suitable for ice creams, sorbets, pastries, for the preparation of jams, coulis, milkshakes or smoothies.

Color: typical of red currant (intense red).
Smell: Characteristic of the fruit, red currant with fresh aroma.
Flavor: typical sweet and sour of this fruit.
Texture/consistency: smooth, creamy and homogeneous texture.

Storage Conditions

The proven shelf life of our product is 30 months when kept in its original packaging and stored frozen at -20ºC. it is important to note that once thawed, the product should never be refrozen to ensure its quality and food safety.
It is important to remember that the product should be thawed under refrigeration (2 to 5ºC) and kept at this temperature until fully consumed. It is recommended to be consumed within a maximum of 4 to 5 days to preserve its organoleptic properties and ensure its freshness.
