• Prepare the Syrup

  Place the water and sucrose in a saucepan.

  Add the previously scraped Madagascar vanilla bean and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  Add the Grated Citrus Zest

  Add the Frotz Orange Zest, Frotz Lemon Zest, and Frotz Lime Zest to the hot syrup.

  Let it steep so that the citrus aromas blend into the mixture.

  Add the lime pulp and rum

  Once the infusion is complete, strain the syrup to remove any solid particles.

  Add the Frotz lime pulp and the aged rum.

  Mix until the mixture is smooth and fragrant.

  Bathing the Babás

  Use the prepared syrup to soak the babas, making sure they absorb the liquid evenly.

  The goal is to achieve a juicy texture and a balanced distribution of aromas throughout the entire production process.
