BLACK CURRANT

The currant is a berry type fruit or bulbous grape of blue color, juicy and with a very pleasant sweet and sour taste. Its juice is medicinal and is also used to make drinks and jelly.
Its bitter and very acid taste prevents it from being consumed raw.

Tested shelf life: 42 months, kept in original packaging and stored frozen at -20ºC.
If thawed, it should never be refrozen.
Thawing should be done under refrigeration (2 to 5ºC) and kept at this temperature until thawing.
