BLUEBERRY CULTIVATION

Also known as “Mirtillo”, it goes very well with game dishes, duck, pork, chicken, as part of a dish and even as a garnish.

Tips for Use

Perfect for salads, foie gras, cheese or pâté dishes. It can be used for filling cakes and pastries as its fruit can be transformed into jellies, jams and marmalades.
Ideal for pokes or with yogurt, it makes a very nutritious breakfast.

Color: typical of blueberry (dark blue).
Smell: Characteristic of myrtle fruit, sweet.
Flavor: typical and sweet of this fruit.
Texture/consistency: smooth and creamy texture, homogeneous, seedless.

Storage Conditions

Tested shelf life: 42 months, kept in original packaging and stored frozen at -20ºC.
If thawed, it should never be refrozen.
Thawing should be done under refrigeration (2 to 5ºC) and kept at this temperature until thawing.
