At FROTZ® we select the best strawberries that are harvested between May and June in the European forests to undergo IQF deep freezing. This small wild strawberry with a great aroma despite its small size is a jewel of the forest. It is increasingly appreciated in the pastry industry for its fine and characteristic flavor.
Intense flavor, for occasional consumption as a gourmet fruit and widely used in dish decorations.

They are presented in whole units in frozen state (by IQF ultra-freezing).

Ideal for filling cakes, crepes, as a topping for ice cream, or gelatinized in tartlets.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Color: typical of the variety of this fruit: intense red.
Smell: Characteristic of fruit and fresh, very fragrant.
Flavor: typical of strawberries, very sweet.
Texture/consistency: soft fleshy texture and very juicy in the mouth.

Storage Conditions

Tested shelf life: 42 months, kept in original packaging and stored frozen at -20ºC.
If thawed, it should never be refrozen.
Thawing should be done under refrigeration (2 to 5ºC) and kept at this temperature until thawing.
