This new Frotz product is made from the whole fruit, including the pulp, juice and outer peel rich in essential oils. This process preserves all the citrus nuances, resulting in a product with a stronger aroma, an intense flavor and more aroma.
Thanks to the use of whole lemons or oranges, this puree brings an exceptional citrus complexity, combining freshness, elegant bitterness and slightly floral notes. A dense puree with a fine, uniform texture makes it easy to incorporate into all types of preparations without the need for additional filtering.

Tips for Use

Suitable for ice cream, sorbets, pastry and confectionery. Ideal for providing the essential oils from the lemon rind and all the citrus notes of a whole lemon, both from its juice and peel.Thawing under refrigeration 24 hours. Do not refreeze a thawed product.

Color: typical of lemon, light yellow as it includes an alvedo part.
Smell: characteristic of this fruit, fresh.
Flavor: typical, mainly acidic.
Texture/consistency: smooth, creamy and homogeneous texture.

Storage Conditions

The proven shelf life of our product is 42 months when kept in its original packaging and stored frozen at -20ºC. It is important to keep in mind that once thawed, the product should never be refrozen to guarantee its quality and food safety.
It is important to remember that, when thawing the product, it should be thawed under refrigeration (2 to 5ºC) and kept at this temperature until fully consumed. It is recommended to be consumed within a maximum of 4 to 5 days to preserve its organoleptic properties and ensure its freshness.
