Ficus Carica
The fig is an infructescence (a set of fruits), so it is not a single fruit.
Some fig trees, called breveras, bíferas or reflorescentes, produce two crops a year: the figs in June and the figs between the end of August and the beginning of September.
At Frotz we have selected the best green figs from the June harvest in the fields of Spain with a bright green and a great reddish color inside.
We present them in whole units of about 45 grams of weight.
